At Kruger Seeds, our commitment is to you, your family and your community. That’s why the America’s Farmers programs, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, a philanthropic arm of Bayer, partner with farmers year-round to give back to rural communities across the country and in Iowa.
We help support rural American farmers with three different programs:
Every year, the America’s Farmers Grow Communities initiative partners with farmers to award more than $3 million to help support causes that make a positive impact in rural communities across the country. Farmers have the opportunity to enroll to win a $2,500 donation to direct toward their favorite eligible nonprofit organization. So far, this program has supported local efforts to feed the hungry, purchase life-saving EMS equipment, support ag youth programs, buy school classroom resources and more. Enrollment closed November 1st.
Grow Rural Education
America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education works with farmers to nominate public school districts to compete for $10,000 and $25,000 grants to enhance STEM education. Annually, the program awards approximately $2.3 million to rural public school districts to fund STEM projects like technology upgrades, greenhouses and laboratory equipment.
Farmer Nominations: January – April 2019
Grow Ag Leaders
America’s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders offers more than $500,000 in scholarships to high school seniors and college students pursuing an ag-related field of study. Every student application needs two farmer endorsements. Enrollment closed February 6th.
